I visited Ithaca in 2015 and knew, like Odysseus, that I would return.
I had dreamt of having a retreat one day, and this island breathes wellness and nourishment.

I found some land and a ruin—where I lived—with the most outstanding view in Ithaca.
The ruin was to be extended into a beautiful luxury villa, Saranda.
At the higher end of the land, a brand-new build: Villa Hestia.
The next ten years were hard—very hard.
I acquired a large mobile home, which I converted into a delightful house: now the Cosy Cabin.
Nothing happened unless I was on Ithaca. I lived here for five years while works were slowly progressing, even through Covid.

I was then scammed by my architect, engineer, construction company, and lawyer. The project was confiscated by the Greek court system for 14 months.
I lost a lot of money.
In late 2023, I picked things up again and finally opened my doors to the world in June ’25.
My dream has at last come true. I hope you feel the same way I do about magical Ithaca.

You will return.
