About the Retreat

Immersed in a pristine natural paradise by the sea, you will enjoy daily practices of Yoga and the Feldenkrais Method. In the evenings, we invite calm and restoration through soothing meditation classes and sound healing sessions.

We will be guests at the splendid Mytilene Thermal Baths, where we will practise the Feldenkrais Method in water and benefit from the exceptional qualities of its unique thermal springs. Throughout the retreat, we will explore beautiful locations across the island, taking in its unique landscapes. Known as “the island of poets,” Lesvos is a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in history, culture, and natural beauty.

Scheduled Excursions

Petra and Molivos, located in the northern part of the island, are among the most characteristic and visited villages.

The island’s volcanic origin has gifted it numerous thermal springs. We will visit the Mytilene Thermal Baths, where the water flows at a constant temperature of 39°C and is renowned for its excellent quality.

Near the centre of the island, we will visit stunning beaches, including Vatera, celebrated for its 5 km-long shoreline and crystal-clear waters.

Mediterranean Retreats Centre

The Mediterranean Retreats Centre, now fully transformed into a space dedicated to yoga, energy studies, and healing practices, was originally a traditional Greek tavern and small hotel. Today, it has been thoughtfully redesigned to welcome people from all over the world who are passionate about personal development and healthier lifestyles.

Overlooking the Gulf of Kalloni, with the sea just a few metres away, the centre is immersed in a natural setting of exceptional beauty. The area is a haven of deep peace and tranquility. Visitors from around the world come to the island to admire pink flamingos, black and white storks, peregrine falcons, and many other rare migratory birds.

The location, its powerful natural environment, and the profound silence and balance of the elements make this an ideal place to fully immerse yourself in study and practice—leaving behind the physical and emotional weight that so often burdens everyday life.
