Mimosa is a goregous family run retreat in Greece that is built to host retreats of any kind. A total of 20 adults can be accommodated comfortably in our villas.

About the Venue

Mimosa Retreat is a stunning property situated on Lefkada Island, Greece. If you are a yoga teacher looking for a sunny space, a book writer looking to run a creative writing workshop or meditation facilitator looking for that ideal hideaway – we have the location for you! The retreat centre nestles discreetly against the mountainside boasting stunning views of Skorpios, the island famously owned by Onnasis in the 60s.
The property itself comprises of the main communal house which consists of a fully fitted kitchen, living room, dining room and TV room. To compliment this there are 5 guest villas all including two bedroom suites and a shared living room, 10 rooms in total. We have 7 rooms with twin beds sharing and 3 with king beds. All bedrooms have an air-conditioning unit and WIFI. The villas are set amongst beautiful lush foliage and ancient olive trees.

The Mimosa Retreat Centre, Greece is a superb and expansive Balinese styled property, set in beautiful grounds with a panoramic outlook towards the Ionian Sea – see photos on our gallery page. Secluded and tranquil, this is the perfect retreat destination to offer your students. There is a fully equipped and fitted kitchen used by our resident chef, two dining areas, one inside, seating 12, the other outdoors, seating 20.

The property is in walking distance to the small town of Nidri and a 10 minute downhill walk to the sea. Lefkada has some beautiful beaches to visit, gorgeous mountains to hike and cuisine.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELATION POLICY

5.1. If you wish to make any changes to your confirmed booking, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. We shall make every effort to meet your request but cannot guarantee compliance with such requests. We accept no liability for any costs, losses, or expenses incurred by you as a result of any requested changes, whether or not we are able to accommodate them. If a change is accommodated there will be a €250.00 administration fee applied, and you shall be responsible for any additional costs arising from the change.
5.2. If you wish to cancel your booking, you must inform us immediately in writing. The following cancellation policy shall apply:
If cancellation is made

More than 8 weeks before the check-in date
-Initial Payment and Second Payment will not be refunded
Less than 8 weeks before the check-in date
-Total Booking Value is payable in full.
The Damages Deposit will be refunded in full if already paid by yourselves.

5.3. Our liability in respect of any cancellation or amendment is strictly limited to the refund (if any) specified in clause 5.2 above. We shall have no liability whatsoever for any indirect, consequential, or special losses including but not limited to travel costs, accommodation costs elsewhere, loss of enjoyment, or any other expenses you may incur as a result of cancellation or amendment of your booking, whether cancelled by you or by us.

Amazing, amazing, amazing place…! It was just beautiful in so many ways. Not just the buildings but the energy of the place. The details are in everything. Lara & Nicola were perfect hosts and so friendly. It was a gift for me to teach yoga in the shala, it has amazing energy that is so soft, gentle yet powerful. Dear Nicola, Lara and all the staff. Mimosa Retreat is one of the most beautiful and serene places I’ve ever stayed in the world. I love how it is nestled so elegantly into its natural habitat with the rock and wood building materials that make it so warm and inviting. Our accommodations were simple, beautiful and functional with attention to detail. The service was in all ways stellar and so unobtrusive yet everyone was thoughtful and welcoming. The yoga shala was well thought out with views of natural foliage and the sea enhancing the spiritual and meditative parts of yoga. Finally, we couldn’t have had better food which BTY was very healthy. This was one of the best experiences I have had in my life. I hope to visit again. Thank you from my heart.

We recently concluded our “Mindfulness Travels” retreat at Mimosa and could not be more pleased with the experience. The stunningly beautiful setting overlooking the Ionian Sea and surrounding islands. The Balinese architecture, impeccability of the general manager Lara, kindness of Nicola, friendliness and helpfulness of Arnel, and the incredibly flavorful & healthy cuisine all contributed to the happiness of our retreat participants. Mimosa Retreat is a precious jewel. We look forward to returning here in 2025. We extend a heartfelt “thank you” to the chefs, staff, owners, and management.
