Elina Samara is a dedicated psychologist with extensive training in holistic and therapeutic practices. She completed her studies in Psychology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and carried out her practical training at the Self-Help Promotion Program (S.H.P.P.) for individuals recovering from substance dependence. She has worked in systemic psychotherapy with couples and families for two years and later specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, focusing on panic attacks and anxiety disorders.
Elina also trained for one year as a Clinical Psychologist (ISO) at the Psychiatric Clinic of Papageorgiou Hospital, an experience she describes as pivotal in her professional journey.
Her passion for a holistic lifestyle led her to further training in Theta Healing, an energy healing method. Wishing to integrate movement-based therapy into her practice, she became a certified Aerial Yoga instructor. For Elina, meditation, mindfulness, and body awareness are the three pillars of well-being—body, soul, and spirit.
For the past 10 years, she has been working privately, offering both in-person sessions in Thessaloniki and online sessions to clients in Greece and abroad. Over the last three years, she has been organizing her own retreats in various locations away from the city, as she wishes to provide individuals with the space to dedicate meaningful time and care to their inner selves. Removed for a while from the fast pace and demands of modern life, they can regain their strength and, if they wish, redefine themselves.
